read good reviews of it so I recorded it on my DVR, but didn't get around to watching it till the writers strike, and OMG! What great bad tv it is! It kind of reminds me of Dynasty and Dallas. My mom used to claim she watched them "Just for the clothes"

I probably wouldn't be nearly as into a teen soap if I hadn't started watching it a month after spending Christmas in Manhattan myself, upper west side in my case. The exterior shots and wardrobe are the main things that got me watching in the first place, but some of the acting is actually good. And by that I mean Chuck, he's my favorite character on tv right now; a jaded but sensitive asshole who nobody trusts EXCEPT when they REALLY need him. He's an awfully deep character for a teen soap.

I admit that most of the acting is pretty awful, but its really good at what it is, which is essentially what the reviews I read said. Somehow I'm hooked on it. When the acting and writing get bad the visuals keep me watching. Anybody else seen it?
