I had been watching this one at a friends house since I didn't have Showtime. The friend moved at the end of season 2 so I was planning on subscribing as soon as the next season was set to start.

Oh well, don't really need to be paying more for my satelite subscription anyway.

Stupid Showtime, it really was a great show.

They are showing re-runs on HD net now, and a local CW has picked it up as well (San Jose CA). I got mine through NetFlix originally. I think the versions I saw were censored because the ones on HD net are much dirtier than I remember. I've been re watching because they are worth Re Watching in HD.

The good news is there is going to be a movie - direct to DVD but at least we get a little more of the story. It was filmed while Mandy Patinkin was still attached to Criminal Minds and he was unable to participate. So they got rid of Rube and there is a new head reaper for the group. And they recast Daisy.

The filming was complete last summer. The DVD extras have supposedly been completed for about a month or so now. But the bad news that even though it all sounds like it is ready to go they aren't going to get it to us until 2009. And they aren't even telling us when in 2009.

Something to look forward to, but I'm a little dubious at the same time. I have a hard time imagining this working as well without Patinkin.

These articles are a little old, but informative. They were advertising the movie with styrofoam toilette seats at Comic-Con, but I never got close enough to one of the to see if there was a more specific date.
